Signal Room

A decision support workspace that turns noisy product telemetry into a daily operating rhythm for product and growth teams.

Brief

The team had plenty of data and almost no shared confidence. Each discipline was reading a different dashboard, which meant the same incident could become five separate stories before noon.

Approach

I designed the product around one simple ritual: a sharp, readable morning briefing. Instead of surfacing every metric, the system highlights movement, confidence level, and the next question worth answering.

The interface leaned editorial rather than “enterprise analytics.” Big signal cards, restrained motion, and clear narrative hierarchy kept the product from feeling like another dashboard graveyard.

Outcome

Once the team trusted the daily readout, the project shifted from “reporting tool” to operating system. The biggest win was not another chart. It was shared language.

What I would add next

  • Team-specific briefing views for product, support, and execs
  • Worker-backed digest generation for scheduled summaries
  • A lightweight annotation layer for notable shifts
